Doris P. Deal Fellowship Fund Awarded
The 2007 Doris P. Deal fellowship Fund for Emerging Visual Artists has been awarded to Megan Van Deusen of Asheville, N.C.
In a year in which numerous gifted applicants submitted work to TAG, it was Megans unqiue use of draped fabric to create elegant human forms that ultimately secured her the award and a solo exhibition at TAG in November 2010.
Van Deusen holds an B.F.A. in form UNC Asheville. Her education also includes The Pratt Institute. She has exhibited in both North Carolina and New York.
