Caroline has been crocheting for over 5 years and uses crochet as an artistic outlet and positive coping skills for her mental health. Caroline started crocheting amigurumi figures (the cute little crocheted goods with faces) because she thought they were cute and they brought her joy to make. Although most of these amigurumi have no utility, Caroline believes that joy is enough of a reason to make and sell these figures! Caroline mostly created amigurumi food items, but loves to explore with different projects.
As an instructor, Caroline believes that with encouragement and patience, anyone can learn to crochet and find the same joy she feels when they make something cute for themselves. Caroline has her Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and loves to craft in community with others!
