This one day workshop is on 12/17 and registration will close that day.

In this course, participants will learn the foundational techniques of traditional Turkish or “ebru” marbling. Topics covered will include how to prepare the size (the thickened water bath on which the paint floats), how to pretreat the paper, and paint preparation. From there, participants will learn how to apply the paint and will learn the techniques needed to make a variety of traditional patterns, including the nonpareil, the gothic wave, the feather, the peacock, and the stone marble.

Cost: $40 for TAG members ($125 mentor level) and above and $50 for non-members
