The Art Gallery (TAG) was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 1992 and has been in independent operation for over 30 years. TAG began in the High Point Theatre facility when it opened in 1975.
In early 2023, TAG moved to Congdon Yards and updated its name to The Art Gallery. Since its inception, TAG has been High Point’s primary visual arts provider.
TAG hosts visual art exhibitions from local, regional, and international artists. A variety of collections featuring solo and group artists are held annually.

This rating designates TAG as an official “Give with Confidence” charity, indicating that our organization is using its donations effectively based on Charity Navigator’s criteria. Charity Navigator is America’s largest and most-utilized independent charity evaluator.
