An Opportunity to Lead a Growing Cultural Institution in North Carolina’s Piedmont Triad
The Art Gallery at Congdon Yards (TAG) seeks a dynamic, hands-on, and visionary Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter of growth and community engagement.

About High Point
High Point is a city in the midst of an exciting transformation. Long recognized as the Home Furnishings Capital of the World and host of the internationally renowned High Point Market, the city has expanded its identity to become a growing center for entrepreneurship, higher education, design, and creative placemaking.
Downtown High Point has experienced significant investment and renewal, with historic industrial buildings transformed into new destinations for business, hospitality, dining, entertainment, housing, and the arts. Congdon Yards, nearby restaurants and hotels, creative workspaces, startup incubators, and continued development have created an increasingly active year-round downtown.
High Point University continues to contribute to the city’s growth and national profile, while the larger Piedmont Triad—including Greensboro and Winston-Salem—offers the amenities and opportunities of a metropolitan region within a short drive.
For an arts leader, High Point presents a particularly compelling opportunity: a community with a tradition of philanthropic support, growing enthusiasm for cultural investment, and the chance to help shape the identity of a city whose story is still unfolding.
