Event Details

Instructor: NONE – students must have taken a clay class at The Art Gallery at Congdon Yards (TAG) to work in the community open studio OR be currently enrolled in a clay class at TAG

Cost: $30 per session if not currently enrolled/FREE if a current student – pay when arrive at TAG

Description:
● Participants must email Jack Blanchard if attending open studio
● Participants must have completed at least one clay class at TAG to purchase open
studio time (open studio is free for current students)
● Participants must be knowledgeable about the tools/equipment they will be using or ask
for assistance PRIOR to using
● Community Open Studio is limited to 12 participants and the pottery wheels are first
come/first served
● Participants may use remaining clay from their clay class or if additional clay is needed,
must purchase a 25# bag of clay from TAG for $35
● Participants must follow clay studio guidelines
● If guidelines are not being followed, specifically if equipment, tools, and work space are
not cleaned properly, a studio fee of $30 will charged to the specific participant
● Paying participants will have space to store their clay bag. All work will either be on
drying shelves and/or firing shelves. Personal tools/equipment cannot be stored in the
studio for paying participants (current students have use of their personal cubby)
