The workshop is August 10 and registration will be closed the day of class.

This two-hour workshop will teach you about making your own paper with the option to cast and/or mold your paper over handmade and premade forms.

Paper casting and paper molding are two techniques used to create shapes and forms using paper.

Paper casting involves using a mold and then pouring a pulp mixture over it.  Once poured over the mold, the mixture is left to dry and harden, forming a solid shape that can be removed from the mold. Paper casting is often used to create intricate or detailed shapes, such as sculptures or decorative objects. Or sheets of paper are laid over the mold and pressed into shape. Once the paper has hardened, the mold can be removed, leaving behind a paper form.

If you have taken our paper making workshop in the past, feel free to bring your own papers to use for casting and molding.
