Event Details

Playwrights Peter Turner and Debra Kaufman will share their insights on creating characters in conflict, playwriting structure, and other playwriting basics, such as writing compelling dialogue and concise stage directions.  Jonathan Crow, managing director of Triad Playwrights Theatre, will discuss ways to create posters for a new play.  In this interactive session, attendees will have an opportunity to write a dialogue and/or sketch a stage set or poster, with optional sharing of their work.  Class is limited to 20 participants.  Snacks and water will be provided.

Open to high school and college students. Free. Registration required.
