Event Details

This four-week class is designed to introduce you to throwing on the wheel.  You will learn the basic steps involved in making wheel-thrown vessels. We will start with making basic cylinders then extend this knowledge to making other wheel-thrown forms such as bowls and cups. Clay tools will be provided but feel free to bring your own as well as a 2 1/2 quart bucket, hand towel, and apron.  Each participant will get a 25 lb. bag of clay and the opportunity glaze.  Please allow up to 2 weeks for pieces to be fired.  Space is limited!
