EXPECTATIONS
For studio times after 5 p.m. on weekdays and for Sunday times, please email Jack Blanchard at to reserve time.
- Participants must sign in and out.
- Participants must have completed at least one clay class at TAG to purchase open studio time.
- Participants must be knowledgeable about the tools/equipment they will be using or ask for assistance PRIOR to using.
- Community Open Studio is limited to 12 participants and the pottery wheels are first come/first served.
- Participants may use remaining clay from their clay class or if additional clay is needed, must purchase a 25 pound bag of clay from TAG for $35.
- Participants must follow clay studio guidelines.
- If guidelines are not being followed, specifically if equipment, tools, and work space are not cleaned properly, a studio fee of $30 will charged to the specific participant.
- Participants will have space to store their clay bag. All work will either be on drying shelves and/or firing shelves. Personal tools/equipment cannot be stored in the studio.
- PLEASE NOTE: if you are listening to your own music, earbuds are expected to be used.
OPEN STUDIO FOR CURRENT CLAY STUDENTS
- Open studio times will be posted on the board in the clay studio and are free for students currently enrolled in a clay class.
- Free open studio time ends on the last day of class; HOWEVER, students will have one free studio session after the last class to glaze any bisque pieces made during class.
- Students must keep their materials in their designated cubby. All finished work will either be placed on the drying shelves and/or firing shelves.
- Open studio is limited to 12 participants and the pottery wheels are first come/first served.
