Event Details

This class is designed for students that have little or no experience working on the pottery wheel. Focus will be on learning to center clay and creating cylinder pots. Students that have more experience are welcome and will be given instruction to further their pottery skills. Participants will learn  about the stages of pottery from raw clay to glazed pottery. Pottery will then be fired in the kiln and glazed to create finished pottery. This four-week course is a perfect length to introduce students to the wheel and create works of art. Participants will receive one free bag of clay and access to open studio times outside of class.
