Leigh Blanchard

I have over 20 years of experience teaching art at all levels, ranging from kindergarten to adult. I currently teach middle school in Randolph County. I love working with all mediums of art but my favorite is clay. I enjoy creating a basic form on the potter’s wheel and then transforming it into something else through different hand-building techniques.

During my career of teaching, I have become an expert at encouraging creativity while simultaneously teaching solid technical skills to my students. Backed by a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from UNCG, my specialty is in painting, pottery, and multimedia design.
