The Art Gallery at Congdon Yards (TAG) is pleased to announce the dedication of the Doris P. Deal Gallery in recognition of her exceptional contributions to the organization. This dedication acknowledges Deal’s unwavering support over the years, characterized by her dedicated time, visionary leadership, and generous allocation of resources.

As a founding member of the TAG Board of Directors since its establishment in 1975, Deal has played an instrumental role in shaping the artistic landscape of the community. Her enduring commitment to the arts and steadfast presence on the board as an Emeritus member continue to inspire and guide TAG.

The dedication ceremony marked a poignant moment in TAG’s history, coinciding with their recent move to the vibrant Congdon Yards. Deal’s support has been pivotal in paving the way for this exciting transition, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to fostering creativity and artistic expression within its new and dynamic space.

“No one has done more to provide TAG with a firm foundation and a sustainable future than Doris Deal. We extend our deepest gratitude to her for her immeasurable impact on the arts community,” Jeff Horney, TAG Executive Director, said. “We look forward to continuing our shared journey in the world of creativity and innovation.”
