The Art Gallery at Congdon Yards is delighted to invite the community to a fascinating one-hour discussion with artist Jessica Singerman on Thursday, March 7 at 10 a.m. The event will highlight her inspiring exhibit, “A Place of Leaves and Earth,” currently on display at the gallery.

Singerman earned her Bachelor of Arts with highest honors in 2002 from the College of William & Mary, and her Master of Fine Arts in 2004 from the University of Delaware while on a fellowship. She currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of North Carolina School for the Arts School in the School of Filmmaking in Winston-Salem.

This exhibit features paintings, videos, sound pieces, sculptures, and installations created within the past five years. It represents a culmination of ideas that have been brewing over the past two decades. She will discuss her inspirations, ideas, techniques, and processes. The program is free and open to the public. Coffee and doughnuts will be provided and registration is required.

The community can view the exhibit during gallery open hours (Monday – Friday noon to 5 p.m.) until Friday, April 19. TAG is located at 400 West English Road, Suite #151, High Point.
