Event Details

Through two-hour sessions, enter the world of handmade book structures. Participants can make as many different books as your time allows. Each class covers vocabulary, tool use, resources and materials while building a functional handmade book structure during each session.  These classes are wonderful for teens through adults. A great hands-on learning experience for book art to create your own journals, gifts for giving, fundraisers or the classroom.

Create a variety of fun and functional, simple folded book structures. Explore paper surface design techniques with gel plate printing for paper and fabric. Learn fun ways with the pamphlet-stitch and Japanese stab binding. Leave with some handmade books and the knowledge to create more.

Cost:
Members: $35/class, 4-Class Pack $120
NonMembers: $45/class, 4-Class Pack $140
