FRANK CAMPION: Now & Then – Paintings and Works on Paper, 2024–1979
The Art Gallery at Congdon Yards is proud to present “FRANK CAMPION now & then – paintings and works on paper: 2024–1979,” a retrospective exhibition showcasing the evolution of acclaimed artist Frank Campion. Spanning over four decades, this collection highlights Campion’s exploration of painterly abstraction, featuring large-scale paintings and intimate works on paper from both his recent years and his early career in Boston.
Through color, gesture, and the physicality of paint, Campion’s work invites viewers into a dialogue on the evocative power of abstract art. This exhibition provides a rare opportunity to witness the shifts in his artistic motivations, methodologies, and processes, offering insight into both the constants and transformations within his practice.
